The victim’s family said the hit-and-run happened around 9 a.m. Friday near Maplewood Drive and Kohlman Lake while he was visiting a family member’s home. They said a driver frustrated by road construction cut through the yard, hit him and sped away. Surveillance video from the scene showed the man on the ground surrounded by first responders. His family said witnesses told them the impact threw him nearly 10 feet. “It was very scary,” said Kevin, the victim’s son. “From what my dad describes is he goes airborne, and slides from the front over to the driver’s side and lands from the middle of the yard all the way into the pavement of the road. @keyframes spin { 0% { transform:rotate(0deg); } 100% { transform:rotate(360deg); } } Maplewood Hit and Run The family does not have video of the hit-and-run it
